WELCOME TO THE
NORTHERN INDIE AUTHOR SUMMIT

The North's first dedicated conference for independent authors is coming to Manchester in 2026.

Whether you're just starting out or you've got a shelf full of titles to your name, the Northern Indie Author Summit is being built for you. A full day of practical sessions, industry insight, and real conversations with people who are doing exactly what you're doing.

And when the sessions are done, the night is just getting started.

THE HIVE

Manchester has always been a city of workers. Industrious, determined, and stronger together. It's no coincidence that the worker bee has been the symbol of this city for over 150 years.

A single bee is remarkable. A hive is unstoppable.

That's exactly what the Northern Indie Author Summit is about.

Indie publishing can be a solitary craft. You write alone, publish alone, and more often than not, figure things out alone. The Hive is our answer to that. One day. One room. Indie authors like you bringing their knowledge, their experience, and their energy together, because when indie authors collaborate, share, and support each other, the whole community moves forward.

For one day only, Manchester becomes our hive.

Think about the worker bee. It doesn't wait to be told what to do. It doesn't ask for permission. It shows up, it grafts, and it contributes something to a colony that is always bigger than itself. Sound familiar? That's every indie author who has ever sat down and decided to do this on their own terms.

You are already a worker bee. You just haven't found your hive yet.

Manchester's worker bee doesn't just look good on a logo. It's a philosophy.

And for one day in 2026, it's ours.
